Dr. Jacalyn Sollid attended the University of Victoria from 1992-1995, majoring in biology. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of British Columbia in 1999, graduating at the top of her class. She received numerous scholarships and awards, including the College of Dental Surgeons Gold Medal and the Canadian Dental Association President's Award.

Dr. Loren Braun graduated with honors in 1996 from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in biology. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of British Columbia in 2000, earning a scholarship in Prosthodontics.

Both Loren and Jaci are members of the Victoria and District Dental Society, the Canadian Dental Association, and the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia. They enjoy practicing all aspects of family dentistry and welcome patients of all ages. They take pride in keeping their dental knowledge current by attending continuing education courses, study clubs and conventions.

On a more personal note, Jaci and Loren married after meeting in undergraduate studies at the University of Victoria in 1993. After graduating from dental school they moved to Sidney to set up a dental office together. As their practice grew, so did their family ... they now have two young boys, Riley and Payton. Loren and Jaci take turns working in the office and home-schooling, and feel they have the best of both worlds ... practicing the dentistry they love while not missing anything at home!

Y'vonne

Receptionist

Y'vonne has lived on the Peninsula for many years, and seems to know most of Sidney! With her gentle personality and ready smile, she is able to put even the most nervous of patients at ease. After hours she can be found chasing after her furry four-legged friends.

Liz

Receptionist

Liz has worked in the dental field for over 30 years, first as an certified dental assistant and later as a receptionist. Based on her experience she is able to answer many dental questions for patients. Outside of the office she keeps busy gardening, fishing, hunting and watching her son play baseball and goalie for the Peninsula Eagles.

Karen

CDA

Karen has been a certified dental assistant for 12 years. Patients enjoy her bright smile and sweet personality. After work she can be found hanging around with her two young sons.

Amanda

HYGIENIST

Amanda is loved by our patients because of her gentle treatment and her ability to put even the most nervous patient at ease. After hours, she stays busy keeping her two young boys in line!

Trevor

HYGIENIST

Trevor has many years of experience as a dental hygienist. Patients appreciate his careful, comprehensive treatment and relaxed manner. Outside of work he keeps busy with hockey, surfing, and running marathons.
